Embark on our three days visit of the Eastern part of Uganda, and explore, discover the magnificent beauty of this region located within the slopes of Mt Elgon that has evolved into a hiker’s paradise. Sipi Falls, consisting of a series of spectacular waterfalls ranging from 85m to 100m fed by a single River Sipi that has its source at the Elgon Crater lakes in Caldera base, is a highlight among the surrounded natural attractions of Kapchorwa region.


The scenic nature hike to Sipi falls is entailed with beautiful detours offering breathtaking views, unique physical features, fossil rocks, authentic community interactions, and opportunities for witnessing different species of plants, diverse birdlife and so much more.This Uganda waterfall trek isn’t particularly difficult; however, it requires both physical fitness, mental readiness and you just have to be present as you enjoy the moment despite the varied terrain of Eastern Uganda.


Sipi falls is also home to premium Arabica Coffee cultivated by local farmers, processed, and later sold to international markets. This has been integrated as an engaging agro-tourism product whereby you can dive in and trace the journey of coffee at an extra fee if you wish to add this cultural experience to your travel plan.

Itinerary Plan

Day 1

Pick up from the airport and transfer later to Sipi Falls accommodation, check in, and later meet our senior local guide to brief you about how your Uganda hiking program will be arranged. If time allows, a short walk to the sunset viewpoint will be ideal.

7:30am early morning Breakfast, and by 8am we set off for the long nature walk that will take approximately 4 hours exploring the waterfall circuit and later return to the hotel for lunch as you warm up for the Sunset walk at 6pm. However, if you would like to combinewith  Afternoon Coffee Tour Experience and cultural immersion, it’s also possible but inform us in advance.

Early Breakfast, wrap up and departure to Kampala-Entebbe International Airport.
