My name is JUMA CHEBET brain behind Massif Montane Expedition, born and raised here in Sipi, Kapchorwa District on the slopes of Mt Elgon. I possess passion for outdoor adventures since at the teenage age. And growing up within the tourism hiking area, I adopted the guiding skills and knowledge about my area around and now even beyond.
Well, after 10 years of working experience in guiding, exploration and discovering, I decided to establish an adventure company in 2019 that deals in leading groups, organizing trips, prepare expedition logistics, sharing information, embrace the idea of conservation and promoting sustainable tourism in the Elgon region and beyond.
My flexibility and positive mindset when it comes to outdoor activities and professionalism has so far earned me a positive reputation and able to answer client’s need and want by offering tours that fits within their time, budget and exhibiting valve for money.
I am affiliated member of a highly recognized Association in Uganda called Uganda Safari Guides Association, Trained, assessed and licensed national guide.
